Larry Fitzgerald, the 3rd pick overall in the 2004 draft,
prepared himself for his first training camp knowing that
he would have to make his mark early and often. With blazing
speed, soft hands and an explosive vertical leap, Larry was
the most dominant college receiver many scouts had seen in
some time. But before he could realize his dream of playing
in the NFL, he needed to prove himself in training camp, both
on the practice field and in the weight room. Fitzgerald so
impressed the Cardinals’ coaching staff that he was
added to the starting roster as a rookie. In his first season
with the Arizona Cardinals, Larry led the team in receptions,
receiving yards and averaged 13.4 yards per catch. With a
year of pro football under his belt, Fitzgerald is looking
to reach even loftier goals after a spectacular first season.
