Rogers is ranked among the top cornerback prospects in the
country. The winner of the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation’s
best defensive back, Rogers had a phenomenal senior season
for the Tigers, making 47 tackles and garnering accolades
for his speed, aggression and intelligent play. Draft experts
projected that Rogers would be among the first 10 players
taken in the draft and he didn’t disappoint, as the
Washington Redskins drafted him with the ninth overall pick.
This talented 6’1”, 194-pound Georgia native is
well on his way to a successful pro career.
